I run workshops that will give you a unique insight into the processes and recipes I use.
I love sharing my craft and introducing people to the world of homemade, natural products. Come along to my home to experience making and ask questions, discover everything you’d like to know about creating your own soaps, whilst enjoying a cup of tea and cake.
Workshops dates by arrangement, 1.30pm – 4pm £55 per person
What you’ll do;
I will show you how to make soap first hand, using high quality ingredients and traditional processes. Then you’ll roll your sleeves up and create your own soaps using a recipe rich in coconut oil and vitamin E. You’ll finish up with your own honey and oatmeal soap ‘loaf’ to take home – which you can slice into 5-6 soaps to enjoy afterwards.
As an extra bonus, I'll also show you how to make lip balms by creating a batch on the day and then giving everyone a pot of this freshly made balm to take home.
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING;
I did this class with my friend for her 60th birthday. The teacher was fun and informative. I was very impressed with her knowledge of the health and safety aspects of soap making and also her knowledge of the legislation surrounding making and selling soap.
She managed to make the lesson fun and also simple in essence.
The venue was lovely and gave lots of space and fresh air which was needed.
The class was excellent value for money. I hope Carol will go on teaching her craft for many years to come so that others can enjoy it as we did. Caroline Quintin • Mar 2024
Very enjoyable workshop in a relaxed environment, our teacher/host was really welcoming, informative and gave us lots of interesting information and we ended up with a lovely product to take home. Amanda Christianos-Mintington • Feb 2024

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING;
My girlfriend and I received the soap making class as a Christmas gift.d
We both found it thoroughly enjoyable, and the instructor was lovely. I liked the additional information beyond pure soap making – the history of soap and the legal aspects of setting up a soap-selling company in the UK.
We also got to take away a good quantity of the soap we made, so felt like very good value. Daniel Taylor • Apr 2024
